What we do

What we do

The African Center for Fraud Prevention (ACFP) tackles corruption at its roots by educating, empowering, and mentoring the next generation of ethical leaders. We provide a platform for learning, research, and collaboration, equipping youth, professionals, and institutions to create a more accountable, transparent, and just world.

Growing Diverse Student Membership

ACFP is building a diverse network of student chapters across universities, polytechnics, and colleges throughout Africa. Our goal is to engage young leaders from all backgrounds, empowering them with education, mentorship, and leadership opportunities to promote integrity, accountability, and ethical decision-making

ACFP fosters professional membership across major cities in every African country, bringing together accountants, lawyers, doctors, engineers, architects, and other professionals. These members are passionate about mentoring youth, providing guidance, skills development, and real-world experience in a professional setting to nurture the next generation of ethical leaders.

Growing Professional Membership

The AFCP shall engage the student chapter members in the following core initiatives:

Inspire critical thinking and reward innovative ideas from student members.

Student chapter members form teams to represent their schools in exciting case competitions. Winning teams advance to the ACFP Summit Final, where overall champions are recognized and rewarded for their excellence, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Talents & Innovation Shows are designed to uncover and nurture students’ creativity and innovative ideas. Winners receive support from business organizations to develop and market their talents or innovations as real-world business ventures, fostering entrepreneurship and practical application of skills

At the African Center for Fraud Prevention (ACFP), giving back is a core part of our mission. We believe that leadership and integrity are demonstrated not just in words, but in action. Every ACFP student chapter member is encouraged to dedicate time to meaningful community service within their communities, fostering civic responsibility, empathy, and tangible positive impact. Through these efforts, our members put the principles of accountability, ethics, and service into practice, strengthening both themselves and the communities they serve.

The ACFP Heroes of the Year initiative celebrates individuals and organizations whose exceptional efforts in fighting corruption inspire others. Nominations are open to anyone—from heads of state and governors to civil servants, law enforcement officers, and business leaders. Winners are recognized for their integrity, courage, and patriotic commitment, setting a standard for ethical leadership in their communities and beyond

ACFP provides consulting services to institutions of higher learning, helping integrate ethics, governance, and fraud prevention into student development and curricula. We also offer customized consulting and training to professionals, government organizations, private businesses, and other entities, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to promote transparency, accountability, and ethical practices.

Connect professionals—including accountants, lawyers, doctors, engineers, and architects—with youth for guidance and leadership development.

Facilitate academic and practitioner research on corruption and fraud globally, across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Serve as a conduit for diaspora youth, individuals, organizations, academic institutions, businesses, and governments committed to fighting fraud and corruption worldwide.

Inspire public confidence through integrity, objectivity, and professionalism in all ACFP members.
