About US

The African Center for Fraud Prevention (ACFP) is a Boston-based, U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing integrity, accountability, and ethical leadership worldwide. Rather than relying on reactive approaches that have proven ineffective, ACFP champions proactive, preventive strategies to combat corruption at its roots.

Our work is grounded in two core pillars. First, we educate communities about the profound social, economic, and moral harm caused by corruption. Second, we empower and invest in the next generation—particularly young people—by supporting their development through education, innovation, leadership, and service. ACFP is committed to unlocking the creativity, talent, and potential inherent in today’s youth, equipping them to become principled leaders and responsible global citizens.

This shift in approach is essential to breaking cycles of corruption that have undermined trust, weakened institutions, and limited opportunity across generations. By fostering ethical values early and consistently, ACFP seeks to help build a future free from the normalization of corruption and misconduct.

Around the world, tolerance for corruption is declining. The unequal treatment of crime—where large-scale corruption is often minimized or celebrated while minor offenses are harshly punished—undermines justice and social cohesion. Today’s youth are more informed, connected, and determined to reject corruption in all its forms. ACFP stands with them.

ACFP does not focus on pursuing or prosecuting individuals. Instead, we invest in long-term solutions by cultivating ethical leadership and recognizing individuals and organizations that demonstrate integrity, courage, and commitment in the fight against corruption. These positive examples deserve visibility and recognition, as they inspire others to act with honesty and purpose.

ACFP invites governments, businesses, civil society organizations, community leaders, and individuals who share a commitment to transparency and good governance to partner with us. Together, we can build a more just, accountable, and sustainable future for generations to come.

The vision of the ACFP shall be to develop a world where corruption is no longer normalized, young leaders are empowered to reach their full potential, and integrity-driven institutions create sustainable and inclusive development for all.
